The "Everything"

OMNIA meaning ‘everything' in Latin and ‘wish' in Arabic, goes beyond the current top-of-the-line features available in today's mobile phones. Encased in a stylish ultra-slim 12.5mm metallic chassis, the Samsung is based on the latest Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system, giving users access to Microsoft Office applications such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word on the go. The Samsung OMNIA also allows users to switch between Microsoft Outlook email and productivity functions seamlessly, accessing emails and managing their schedules in Outlook while on the road. With Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, users can also download additional programs and customize them accordingly for their individual needs, mirroring the desktop PC experience in the mobile phone. Rounding out the fully comprehensive feature set, Samsung OMNIA also offers GPS, including navigation and geo-tagging capabilities, so users can get their bearings wherever work or life takes them.
Beyond robust business functions, the Samsung OMNIA also satisfies the user's need for the dynamic mobile entertainment features. A wide 3.2 inch WQVGA LCD screen allows users to view photos and videos in high resolution while multi-codec support for various formats, such as DivX and Xvid, allows users to watch videos in different formats, without having to convert them. Furthermore, the screen is designed to be a 16:9 format screen, ideal for increasingly common wide-screen videos and movies. The five-megapixel CMOS camera onboard the Samsung OMNIA features digital camera functions such as auto-focus (AF), face and smile detection, and auto-panorama shot to help users capture life's best moments in high quality on their mobile phones. Combined with a massive internal memory of 16GB, which is further expandable by using MicroSD cards, the Samsung OMNIA is your mobile digital entertainment library, allowing you to enjoy your music, videos and images everywhere you go.

Navigation on the Samsung OMNIA is a breeze with the inbuilt optical mouse modeled after navigation tools found on the laptop, ensuring ease of use and seamless compatibility for consumers when switching between devices. The Samsung OMNIA' s high resolution touch-sensitive screen features the patented TouchWiz user interface with intuitive tap, sweep, drag and drop operations and an on-screen QWERTY keyboard, keeping data and text entry simple and uncomplicated. The Samsung OMNIA also facilitates easy and convenient calling and texting with a dedicated dome key for controlling communications.
